TRT offers client service on crisis management

Media trainer Television and Radio Techniques (TRT) is the latest

company in the sector to offer a crisis management service to

clients.



The Sheffield-based company, started in 1976, found that clients

increasingly asked for tailor-made plans to deal with the media in a

crisis, and has now developed the service as a formal offering.



TRT managing director Jonathan Boddy said: ’It started with good clients

asking us for some informal hand-holding, and has developed into testing

their procedures and preparedness should a crisis occur.’



After a ’dummy run’ involving every department taking part in crisis

media relations, TRT offers formal feedback on the client’s strengths

and weaknesses.



TRT has already carried out work of this kind for Bass.
