26 June I have been using the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music since February. In the end, I picked up the 32GB iPhone 3GS. I had been resistant to the iPhone because a phone is more than a snazzy GUI. PC manufacturers have traditionally turned out PDA phones like the Fujitsu Siemens, HP and HTC Windows Mobile devices, which failed because they tried to fit a PC paradigm on to a mobile device.

23 June The rumours surrounding the health of Apple's CEO are rife. Has he had a liver transplant? Has he returned to work? All this shows how entwined he is with the success of the brand. For years Bill Gates was Microsoft. Virgin is Richard Branson. And of course Ford was, well Ford. Of course companies are bigger than one person. These leaders do, however, set the vision, the tone and the values of the company.
