Armstrong moved to London from Los Angeles to join the agency from MySpace.com where he managed consumer corporate communications.

The digital specialist is widely known for establishing the popular Twitter feed themediaisdying, which announces staff changes within the media.

Ged Carroll, Armstrong's predecessor, left the agency at the end of March to become director of digital strategies at Ruder Finn.
