Cannes Lions offers discount two-day attendence for PR profesionals

The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival is offering a new two-day ‘taster' registration package, including the awards ceremony where its coveted PR prizes will be handed out.

The offer, priced at a discounted €749, offers registration for the 21-22 June. It enables delegates to watch all the seminars and workshops held over the two days and attendance to the PR Lions Awards Ceremony on Monday night.

This is the first time that Cannes Lions, founded as an advertising competition in 1954, will offer awards for the PR industry. PR professionals from 45 countries have applied for the awards, including around 60 entrants from the UK.

Lord Bell, chairman of Chime Communications, will be jury president for the PR category.

The full event runs from 21 to 27 June.
