Brighter wins Qatar brief

Brighter PR has beaten off six agencies to land the highly sought-after Qatar Airways account.

A two-stage pitch for the trade and consumer account got under way two months ago. The airline saw seven agencies in the first round, before a final three-way shoot-out.

It is understood that Brighter PR has been asked to promote the airline's new worldwide routes to the UK media, as well as reinforcing its existing advertising message that it is a five-star service.

The airline has six new routes planned across India, Australia and Europe over the next ten months. It was recently named best business class airline in the Middle East at the World Travel Awards for the fourth consecutive year. KTA Public Relations previously held the six-figure account.
