Fishburn Hedges is set to lose key client Aviva after the insurance heavyweight sidelined the agency from its ongoing pitch process.
Fishburn Hedges was placed on alert earlier this year when Aviva decided to put the account out to pitch (PRWeek, 25 February).
Since then the client has drawn up a shortlist of four agencies – and has not included Fishburn Hedges.
Final pitches were due to take place as PRWeek went to press, with a decision expected next week.
Sources close to the pitch suggested that Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard were favourites to land the business, but neither agency would comment on the pitch.
