Associate editor: Phil Taylor

Taylor has already stepped down after 15 years at the tabloid. He has been hired to boost the celebrity credentials of PHA Media, which was set up in 2005 by Hall, a former editor of News of the World.

Taylor worked under Hall at both The People and News of the World, where Hall promoted Taylor to chief reporter and then to news editor.

Taylor’s scoops include allegations in 1999 that England’s rugby union captain Lawrence Dallaglio had taken illegal drugs.

Taylor’s first brief is to work with entrepreneur Hilary Devey, founder and owner of pallet distribution company Pall-Ex. She was on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire last year and has called in the agency to raise her personal and company profile as the company expands into Europe.
