Agencies feature in Sunday Times best workplace list

Blue Rubicon and Nelson Bostock have both made the top 20 in The Sunday Times list of the 100 Best Small Companies to work for.

Blue Rubicon, founded by Fraser Hardie and Chris Jones, placed 18th, with Nelson Bostock Communications (20), Brands2Life (23) and Text 100 (29) following close behind.

Overall PR agencies outperformed advertising agencies, with only three ad entries making the list compared with 11 PR agencies.

This year 565 small companies competed for a place in the top 100 with 34,295 employees feeding in their opinions.

The Sunday Times will publish a list of the best larger companies to work for in the 100 Best Companies For magazine, out on 8 March.
