Coca-Cola up for grabs

Coca-Cola is looking to combat negative press about the value of recycling in the UK by handing out a new six-figure brief.

PR for the beverage giant's consumer-facing recycling initiative was handled last year by roster agency Trimedia, which devised the successful 'Coke Cans Creation' programme.

Coca-Cola GB citizenship manager Liz Lowe confirmed a new brief was up for grabs.

Lowe added that the media climate around recycling had changed dramatically in the past six months and admitted that demand had dropped because of the global economic downturn.
