Film4, Channel 4's feature film subsidiary, has taken on the media and entertainment specialist to handle corporate press in the UK and internationally.

Upcoming projects include Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson's film adaptation of popular book by Alice Sebold 'Lovely Bones'.

The agency reports to Channel 4's group publicity manager (film and drama) Chloe Dunbar.

The PR has been outsourced for the last five years, and had most recently been using an individual PRO.

Dunbar said she had brought in Taylor Herring, 'because we were looking for the PR support of a larger organisation at such a busy time for Film4'.

Taylor Herring won the account without pitch because it has worked with parent company Channel 4 on a variety of corporate and consumer briefs in the past.

Film 4 also won two other awards at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards for Happy-Go-Lucky and In Bruges.
