All practitioners will relate to the frustration of pitches to potential clients that either steal ideas or disappear without trace. Clients, when they ask agencies to pitch, can't have it all their way.
One potential client recently took six months, two meetings, two proposals, one 'urgent' memo and endless chasing to decide against using my services. Failure to win the account is not the issue. Failure to follow any reasonable process and courtesy is just not cricket. I have no agenda against the party but want to avoid other agencies wasting their precious time in a tough market.
