The Grand Prix Awards contestants are made up from the gold winners of the regional 2008 CIPR PRide Awards.

In addition to nabbing a Grand Prix award Trimedia has been named best multinational consultancy to work for by The Holmes Report, which surveyed employees of all major pan-European PR consultancies.

Other big winners at the CIPR Grand Prix included IAS B2B Marketing, which won awards for Best Corporate Communications and Best Use of Photography or Design.

The North-West region was home to the most winners, with five of the awards going to organisations in the region.

The winners will be presented with their awards at a reception at the CIPR's London headquarters on 20 January.

CIPR President-Elect Kevin Taylor said: ‘The winners have all demonstrated not only that their work is among the best in the country, but also the value that PR can deliver to a business.’
