Outpost wins festival brief

Entertainment and consumer specialist Outpost Media has been hired to handle PR support for dance festival Glade in 2009.

The agency was appointed to the account following a three-way pitch.

It is charged with handling print, online and broadcast media relations to promote the festival. It is also creating and managing content on social networking forums including Facebook and Twitter.

The festival has been running for 5 years and has been based at the Wasing Estate in Berkshire. Organisers are currently looking for a new venue to house next year's event.

The Glade won Best Dance Festival at this year's UK Festival Awards and is a 10,000 capacity event.
