Opinion: From our Readers - National Lottery cash was sensibly spent

As a point of clarification, the fees we paid to Hill & Knowlton were for a wide range of services and not just for public affairs work as suggested in the Conservatives' report (News, 5 December).

The spend was billed over a three-year period and included media relations, strategic comms advice, planning, media training and stakeholder engagement activity for the third National Lottery licence competition.
