Royal Caribbean appoints PR Manager

Cruise operator Royal Caribbean International has brought in Briony Peters as its PR Manager for the UK and Ireland.

The role will encompass managing consumer, trade, corporate, and internal communications.

Peters was previously PR director for Kerzner International, the company behind the recently opened marine-themed Atlantis resort in Dubai. She has also worked as an account director at Hill & Knowlton in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Peters will report to Jo Rzymowska, vice-president and general manager for Royal Carribean in the UK and Ireland, and work alongside in-house PR coordinator Surinder Manku.

Royal Caribbean's retained PR agency since 2006 is travel and leisure specialist Siren PR. The cruise line offers trips to 170 destinations from Alaska to China.
