- Four Communications has promoted Alun James to UK group chief executive. He was formerly MD of its sports, arts & sponsorship practice.

- Hackford Jones PR is working with Dani Behr to highlight her appearance in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The agency also represents fellow contestant Simon Webbe.

- Freud communications has confirmed reports it lost a major account as a result of mayor Boris Johnson's cost-cutting. The agency said it was contracted to London Unlimited, which was closed in July.

- Joanna Lund, former director of comms at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, has launched her own agency, Reputation Matters.

- Publicasity has replaced Frank PR as WD-40 Company's corporate and consumer PR agency, working across its product portfolio.

- Weber Shandwick has created a dedicated UK sport PR practice, co-headed by associate director Scott Bowers and head of media Fiona McLachlan.

- IAS B2B Communications won three awards at the CIPR's North West PRide Awards last night, while Durham and Sunderland universities each scooped two awards at the North East event. A full report will appear in next week's issue.
