The property adviser and management firm provides advice on compliance with the range of statutes for UK properties, such as asbestos compliance, fire risk management and health and safety. Bell Pottinger North will specifically help the company capitalise on new market opportunities such as Energy Performance Certificates, which have just become a legal requirement for all commercial buildings that are let or sold.
Mandate Communications has appointed Peter Otero to its corporate PR team as an associate director. Otero has more than 15 years' experience in corporate and financial communications. Most recently he spent two years at Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial as a senior account director and has also worked as an associate partner at FD for six years.
GR Communications has been brought in to provide PR advice to Capita Hartshead - a provider of consultancy and administration to the life and pensions industry. The financial PR agency will look to boost the profile of Capita Hartshead's expertise in actuarial, investment and management consulting, as well as its better known administration services.
Berkeley PR has been brought in by creative design agency Michon to drive a PR campaign and boost its profile in the trade marketing, design and regional press. Chosen ahead of two other agencies, Berkeley PR will increase awareness of the Michon brand and publicise the agency's recent move into a revamped 19th-century building.
Greentarget has hired Vicky Trainer as its design director to broaden the range of work the agency is capable of undertaking for its financial clients. Trainer has worked with the firm on a regular basis as a freelancer since October 2006 and is now joining on a full-time basis. She will report to creative director Simon Case and work alongside clients and consultants, establishing briefs and creating comms solutions for clients.
