Chlamydia win for MPad

- Chlamydia Screening Service has hired MPad to raise awareness of chlamydia testing among 16- to- 25-year-olds. The Cornwall-based agency is launching the 'Wee for a Wii' campaign in the county's colleges during November and December.

- Optimax, the laser eye treatment specialist, has appointed Kiss Communications to handle a national consumer PR campaign. It will focus on raising awareness of Optimax through national print, broadcast and online media. The agency will also support Optimax's 20 clinics across the UK with regional media relations activity.

- The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons has retained Wavelength Marketing Communications for the next two years. The account will be headed up by Wavelengh MD Tingy Simoes.

- Chandler Chicco Companies has bolstered its team with the appointment of Carsten Edwards as team leader of its Brandtectonics Europe division, which specialises in market access. Edwards joins from Bristol-Myers Squibb where he was customer marketing manager.
