Lawton has been asked to launch the DLR station in Woolwich Arsenal when it launches in early 2009. The station's opening marks the start of a number of changes to the area's public transport in the run up to the 2012 Olympic Games.
The agency will work alongside Serco Docklands and DLR marketing teams to engage the local community of Woolwich, as well as raising awareness of the service within catchment areas and beyond.
Planned activities include experiential events, stunts, web content and media relations.
Lawton is currently retained by Serco Docklands to handle its 'GetOutMore' campaign for the DLR, but it won the Woolwich brief following a competitive pitch.
