Hills Balfour Synergy wins website brief

Travel shop Hills Balfour Synergy has been hired to handle consumer PR for online hotel booking company EasyToBook.com.

The website, founded in 2004, sells over 20,000 hotels in over 74 countries. Hills Balfour Synergy is its first PR support in the UK and the agency was appointed to the account without a pitch.

The account will be headed up by PR director Jonathan Sloan.

The agency will target consumer media including national papers, regional travel and news sections, specialist websites and technology press. The activity will include survey results press releases, support at travel shows, media events and competitions.

‘It is an important time for dotcom companies at the moment,' said Hills Balfour Synery MD Amanda Hills. ‘With consumers using the web to find the best value deals, it is imperative we continue communicating the benefits of dynamic packaging to the travelling public.'
