Opinion: From our Readers - Spamming editors will get you nowhere

A quick message for PR agencies. For God's sake, stop spamming me with releases that have no possible link with my magazine.

Today alone I have had releases about a new bed bug product, a company that carries out software quality assurance, and a pontoon being used in flooded areas. I am the editor of Biofuel Review. The clue is in the title.

Come on chaps, pull your socks up. Explain to your clients that it really is better to go to 500 magazines that are interested in the item rather than the 50,000 on your list that couldn't give a damn.
