CCA appoints Scott

Ash Healthcare has been hired by The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs to handle its comms support for the next three years. The global organisation is aimed at regulatory affairs in the healthcare sector. The account will be headed by Ash associate director Kelly Blaney.

Chandler Chicco Agency has bolstered its team with the hire of Cate Scott as Merck Serono franchise lead. Scott joins from Wells Healthcare Communications. She will oversee comms for Merck Serono's oncology products.

Pulse, one of the UK's largest health and social care recruitment agencies, has appointed Octopus to roll out a PR campaign. The company delivers staffing solutions to health, social care and scientific sector firms, supplying locum doctors, nurses, midwives and care workers.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry have launched a website to provide information on medicines to the public. It provides a guide to the life cycle of medicines along with information on the clinical trial process.
