PM needs his wizard's cap to save himself

What planet are the PR bosses living on who said Gordon Brown's speech was a hit (News, 26 September)?

Fortunately there was a voice of sanity about Brown's speech in that edition of PRWeek - Tara Hamilton-Miller, who, as usual, hit the nail on the head. The PR bosses should take note.

Meanwhile, PRWeek's front page said it all. The picture of Brown wearing a dunce's cap (left) is already swiftly gaining cult status in the PR industry. The fact that it is almost tall enough to be a wizard's cap perhaps shows that he would need magic to get out of the mess he's created.
