From our Readers - Batphone Aviation limits risk exposure

Your article suggesting that Batphone Aviation Communications is exposed to risk at a difficult time for the aviation industry is misleading (News, 19 September).

I am happy to correct any suggestion that my company is owed any money by any of its clients.

It is at precisely times like this that a strong media comms response is important and Batphone Aviation Communications prides itself on developing excellent relationships with its clients.

We have developed a strong reputation in the industry for quality crisis comms as well as a full range of services from public affairs, through internal comms to media relations.

Our business represents, as you point out, BAA and Swissport. We have also worked with the Manchester Airports Group, TUI and the British Air Transport Association.

It is a combination of this strength of experience and the trust placed in us by these clients that has helped us to prosper in the current climate.

- Russell Ison, MD, Batphone Aviation Communications.
