The travel operator specialises in off the beaten track villa holidays throughout Greece, Spain, Italy and Morocco.

Lotus's brief is to increase brand awareness by targeting the travel and lifestyle media. The agency also hopes to grow Simpon's business, despite the serious challenges facing tour operators in the current economic climate.

Lotus UK is part of Lotus Network, an association of communications agencies across Europe that offer marketing and communications support for clients in the travel industry. Jules Ugo, PR director at Lotus UK, will manage the Simpson Travel account. She joined the agency in April to establish its PR division.
