Kotak signs up H&K, Peregrine to work for Guinness family estate.

Hill & Knowlton's corporate and financial services team has been appointed by Kotak Mahindra Group, one of India's leading financial services providers. Kotak offers a wide range of financial services including commercial banking, stockbroking and asset management. The account will be led by director Ben Curson, who will report to Kotak head of group corporate communications Shael Sharma.

The Guinness family estate fund managers have brought in Peregrine Communications. The agency has been hired by Iveagh and is charged with launching its Iveagh Wealth Fund. The Guinness family estate fund allows private investors access to the asset allocation strategies that the firm uses for the Guinness family.

New Star's head of PR Ben Robinson has left the investment fund and is currently on gardening leave. He is believed to be joining Resolution Asset Management and could not be reached for comment. His responsibilities have been allocated to the fund manager's UK PR manager Jamie Legg.

Unigestion, a leading privately owned asset manager, has signed up Redleaf Communications to handle its PR support. The firm has $11bn invested in hedge funds, private equity funds and managing quantitative equity strategies. It manages assets for institutional clients and high net worth families. The account will be headed up by Redleaf director of strategic comms Julian Samways.

An online professional network has been set up to revolutionise the way companies implement sustainable strategies. The 2degrees network will bring together individuals from private companies, environmental groups, consultancies, investment houses and public bodies to share best practice.
