The tech agency will support California-based Intuit, which specialises in financial, tax and accounting software, as it expands in the UK. The Nasdaq-listed company is best known for the personal finance software title Quicken, first sold in 1983 and recently discontinued in the UK.
Hotwire's remit is to manage the UK PR for the firm, building awareness of its QuickBooks accounting brand. The agency will focus on both print and digital media, as well as a thought leadership campaign billing Intuit as 'an experienced and trusted partner' for small and medium-sized businesses.
Hotwire head of banking and finance Scott McLean will lead the account, reporting to marketing manager at Intuit Melanie Vala.
The international agency counts handheld device specialist BlackBerry and messaging company Acision among its clients.
