The national airline of Bahrain has brought in Alec Peck, who has worked at Edelman, Burson-Marsteller and Text 100 in London. His most recent position was at Hill & Knowlton, where he headed up the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia offices.

Peck will lead Gulf Air’s in-house comms effort to capitalise on its record £7m, three-year shirt sponsorship of London’s QPR, which was announced last week with a press conference. The football club’s co-owner Flavio Briatore called the Gulf Air deal ‘a strong sponsorship with a strong brand’.
