We filmed a client video podcast where a spokesperson from Salesforce.com was talking specifically about the benefits of cloud computing. People are debating the benefits of having their data stored remotely and being able to access it everywhere versus having locally managed systems that allow you to stop relying on Wi-Fi or 3G networks.

The internet is open. Just don't tell those incomprehensible fools desperate to regulate this series of tubes. Paris has said 'yes', or more accurately 'oui', to a complete overhaul of the net, which will allow the net's regulator, Icann, to open up strict rules on top-level domain names. Later this year, we could see specific city domain names such as '.london', '.nyc' or '.justaboutanything'.

One of the problems with thinking about the public benefit of PR or its role for social good is one of perspective. Even when employed by charities, can we always say the motives of PR are for the benefit of the public? Looking at the experience of PR through the eyes of a BBC reporter on the red carpet circuit, the view of PR as supporting advocacy or dialogue is questionable.
