Starting this week, the London branch of the global agency will handle the Samsung Electronics press office in the UK as well as overseeing product launches and trade events.
The brief covers Samsung’s IT, mobile and consumer electronics divisions.
Weber Shandwick will also promote Samsung Electronics’ Olympic Games sponsorship, which will see the tech company reaching out to the Chinese market.
The agency is also working with Samsung Europe, and was hired to launch the electronics giant’s CSR partnership with the European Olympic Committees.
Agencies still working on other parts of Samsung’s business in the UK include the Lounge Group, Bite and GolinHarris.
