Midnight joins 'God of self-build' in Grand Designs push

Midnight Communications has been hired to promote Grand Designs Live, a nine-day exhibition based on the successful television and publishing franchise.

The Brighton agency won the business after a competitive pitch, and will be responsible for a five-month media campaign built around the May event at London’s ExCel.

Midnight team director Tara O'Brien will capitalise on interest in 'the God of self-build', Grand Designs TV presenter and magazine editor-at-large Kevin McCloud.

The agency will drive ticket sales to Grand Designs Live, which bills itself as the only event where visitors can 'buy, build and furnish a house all under one roof'.
