Jacob, who was responsible for new business across Text 100's 11 offices, started at Weber Shandwick last week. As new business director for EMEA, Jacob will work across all the agency's practice areas despite his traditional tech background.
'Text 100 had quite a specific tech focus,' he said. 'My new role is to run regional business development, targeting top multinationals.'
He has also been briefed to build the agency's relationships with other Interpublic Group companies.
Before Text 100, Jacob was Brands2Life's business development manager. He has also worked at Lewis.
At Weber Shandwick, he will report to EVP of European brand programmes Richard Moss.
