Cavendish Communications will advise the firm on the direction of government policy, as well as attempting to forge links with key decision-makers in Westminster and Whitehall.

Willmott Dixon head of comms Andrew Geldard said: 'We have asked Cavendish to advise on how to make sure our voice is heard ever more clearly by government and other opinion-formers.'

The account will be lead by Cavendish MD Alex Challoner.

The agency was recently appointed by the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC) to lobby against further hikes in air passenger duty (PRWeek, 1 February).
