Balance lands Converse brief

Classic trainer company Converse has handed out its first integrated trade and consumer brief across EMEA for a six-figure sum.

Balance PR will emphasise the famous 'All Star' brand's associations with sport, fashion and music, playing up links with punk bands such as The Ramones.

One campaign will focus on Converse's centenary in March, being promoted as '100 years of disrupting the status quo'.

The agency will also promote Converse's recently refitted Carnaby Street shop.
