Virgin Books looks to bloggers

Digital specialist Headstream has been handed a brief from Branson-owned Virgin Books to promote its titles online.

The Southampton outfit will start this month, publicising a health title aimed at those struggling to keep New Years' resolutions.

Headstream will promote weight loss guide 'The No Crave Diet', written by a husband and wife team of doctors, by targeting high traffic lifestyle websites with editorial reviews.

The agency has experience with blogger relations, having worked on digital campaigns for controversial film The Kite Runner (PR Week 5 November 2007) and the online relaunch of movie magazine Total Film (PR Week 13 June 2007.

Headstream was launched in 2006 as the digital spin off from Southampton-headquartered marcoms agency Lawton (PR Week 22 November
2006).
