PlanItGay.com parent company Reside International brought in Mulberry to co-ordinate media relations in the UK, US and Western Europe as the site debuts in five languages.

Mulberry account director Dan Brown will lead a team from its London office, raising awareness of the start-up in the gay consumer press.

Mulberry has also been briefed to promote the site to gay-friendly bars, hotels and restaurants, which can host individual pages on the site. It will also have search and booking facilities for flights and hotels worldwide, including favourite gay destinations San Francisco and Miami.

Mulberry made news headlines late last year when client GAP Adventures' cruise ship, the M/S Explorer, sunk after hitting an iceberg in the Antarctic (PRWeek, 28 November 2007)
