Christmas beavers spark local rumour

Diary wonders which South Bedfordshire PRO came up with the headline 'Local beaver spreads the joy of Christmas' in relation to a story on Beavers and Scouts on the South Bedfordshire local government website. It is hard not to doff a festive Santa hat at such efforts.

Diary also sends a festive high-five to Kudos PR. The clever beans thought an invite to a party for client 'Suit Supply' would be more intriguing if it featured an alarm clock-style beep to encourage recipients to open it.

Little did they realise the Evening Standard would assume that said invitation was an explosive device.

At least the invitation was noticed.

Merry Christmas.
