Prostate cancer awareness linked to Spink

West Sussex-based healthcare shop Spink has been appointed by one of the UK's leading prostate cancer treatment centres to raise awareness of its work.

The HIFU Clinic, based at the Spire Gatwick Park Hospital in Sussex, has tasked the agency with building its profile among the male population. It will also target healthcare professionals and the media.

The clinic was the first UK hospital to use the Ablatherm High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound robotic technology to treat prostate cancer.

Spink director Jo Spink said: 'Prostate cancer is a massive problem with one man dying of the disease every hour in the UK.

'We will be working with the urologists of and founders of the clinic to raise awareness of the benefits of screening, in addition to the treatments offered at The HIFU Clinic.'
