Birmingham shop backs rail launch

CrossCountry Trains, the company that took a rail franchise from Virgin, has brought in Haslimann Taylor for a consumer PR brief.

The Birmingham-based agency will support the launch by highlighting the network of routes available and driving traffic to the company’s website.

CrossCountry, part of the Arriva group, operates passenger services to places such as Aberdeen, Stansted and Cardiff.

Separately, Haslimann Taylor has won a consumer healthcare brief from tampon maker Lil-lets.

Haslimann Taylor MD Bron Eames said:  ‘Lil-lets is a great brand with huge PR potential. We are building a specialist division to service consumer healthcare brands where we have a track record.’
