Cake gets nod for dating site re-brand

Cake is to handle consumer PR for the re-brand of a popular dating website.

The consumer agency has been appointed by Allegran, the UK’s largest network of online dating sites, to promote its flagship site, Loopylove.com, which attacts over 1.6 million unique users per month.

The re-branded site will go live in December with new functions.

The campaign is being headed up by Cake account director Jude Forbes, who will report into Allegran marketing director Tabitha Coupe.

Allegran was recognised as one of the top five fastest growing UK companies by Real Business this year.

23 per cent of the UK’s online dating audience are members of its sites.
