Power generation supplier turns to agency support

A company which ‘supplies equipment for around 25 per cent of the world's power generation capacity', has brought in an agency to highlight its work on climate change.

Chatsworth Communications will advise Alstom on media and corporate communications as it holds a ‘knowledge sharing workshop in London on its carbon capture technologies for UK journalist’s in coming months.

Alstom is developing technologies that capture CO2 to prevent it reaching the atmosphere. It is focusing on post combustion and oxy-combustion technologies, because they can be added to existing power stations and to those that are yet to be built to meet increasing global demand, especially from developing countries.
