FD-LLM avoids donations row

Lobbying firm FD-LLM was this week attempting to stay out of the headlines as one of its former directors assumed centre-stage in the controversy over unlawful donations to the Labour Party

As PRWeek went to press, Jon Mendelsohn was facing demands for his resignation after admitting that he knew that property developer David Abrahams was making donations to the party through other people.

Mendelsohn left FD-LLM in August to become director of general election resources at the Labour Party.

Agency MD Simon Elliott said: ‘Jon has no further connection with FD-LLM.’
