CIPR amends development scheme for sake of Media Trust

The CIPR's Continuous Professional Development scheme is being amended to take account of volunteer work that is undertaken for the Media Trust.

The scheme awards PROs who spend 30 hours a year enhancing PR skills and knowledge.

Now, PROs can now spend up to 10 hours of that time volunteering through the Media Trust’s Media Matching service - where voluntary organisations ask for help online or at speed-dating style events.

PROs will also be able to gain conference-speaking experience by speaking at Media Trust events.
