The agency has been appointed to drive awareness of Purely Nurtrition’s PhunkyFoods healthy eating and exercise programme aimed at primary school children. The scheme currently provides 275 schools with a training programme with lesson plans and resource boxes, which includes DVDs and games.
Finn’s MD Richard Rawlins said: ‘The comms activity will be aimed at teachers and parents to promote the benefits of the programme and to generate uptake by teachers.’
Leeds-based Finn was awarded the media relations account without a pitch. It replaces incumbent agency The Savvy Consultancy which has held the account since October 2006.
Finn will also promote Purely Nutrition’s nationwide nutritionist and dietician database of 250 freelancers, for comment and opinion for companies needing nutritional advice.
Rawlins will head up the account and will report into Purely Nutrition’s director Sorrell Fearnall.
