LynkU.com calls in Seventy Seven

New fashion website LynkU.com has appointed Seventy Seven PR to build its profile in the UK following a recent relaunch.

LynkU is the first website dedicated to providing information about which shops and designers are holding sales, both on the high street and online.

The site offers promotions for partner retailers and a ‘deal of the week’ section, where shoppers can find out about big discounts. LynkU lists dates and details of well-known events, such as the ­international designer sample sale Billion Dollar Babes.

Site co-founder Rob Gorton said he hoped the London agency, part of the Fishburn Hedges group, could put LynkU on the map.

Alan Twigg, associate ­director at Seventy Seven, will lead the account, which adds to the agency’s portfolio of digital clients.

Seventy Seven’s roster ­includes web tool Lycos and booking website Hotels.com.
