The agency will manage trade and consumer media for the city of Sydney and the surrounding regions. The contract begins on 1 October.
McCluskey won the brief following a three-way pitch involving Rooster PR and Halpern.
James Allen, McCluskey director, said: ‘Often tour operators advise first-time holidaymakers to Australia to spend three days in Sydney and then fly to the Gold Coast. We want to encourage people to spend more time in the state.’
The six-year incumbent was Seal Communications.
