Bridges: senior consultant role

Bridges had been Tory campaigns director since 2006, responsible for co-ordinating the party’s media, political and campaign teams. After his sudden resignation in July, Westminster gossip linked his exit to the arrival of Andy Coulson as the party’s comms director.

Bridges is thought to have started as a senior consultant at Quiller this week, having previously worked there between 2000 and 2003.

Quiller director John Eisenhammer said that Bridges said the firm did not disclose its clients but that Bridges would deal with issues around campaigning, education and foreign governments.
