The agency’s head of mobile operations Lisa Allen has taken the role and will move to New York to spear-head Nelson Bostock’s new global business  drive.

The agency is keen to target US-based clients that want to expand their PR activities into Europe.
Allen will also build closer ties with like-minded US tech and consumer tech affiliate agencies in order to deliver these campaigns.

Allen will link up with Nelson Bostock’s parent, marketing group Creston USA, which opened a New York office last month.

Nelson Bostock already handles international accounts for Canon Europe, Toshiba and HTC. Last month, the agency managed the global launch of HTC’s Touch mobile phone, which was coordinated through HTC’s US office.

Agency chairman Martin Bostock said that while Allen’s promotion is part of a growth strategy, the firm has no plans to offer PR services in the US. ‘We already handle a significant amount of international business through our affiliate network,’ he said.
