Three agencies on environment roster

The Environment Agency’s North-West office has unveiled its latest PR roster, appointing three agencies to handle as much as £600,000 worth of work over the next three years.

Cheshire-based outfits Communicado and McCann Erickson have both secured a place on the roster, as has Manchester-based Vivid Creative Communications.

Of the three, only Vivid was on the previous roster, which was put in place four years ago. It also included Staniforth, which pitched but failed to make the latest roster.

Melanie Baker, the Environment Agency’s comms manager, said work would include crisis and internal communications, as well as local-level campaigns covering themes such as flooding and waste.

‘Each agency offers something different,’ she said. ‘Communicado has local expertise, Vivid offers a creative specialism and McCann Erickson is part of a much larger organisation.’

The North-West was not affected by the recent flooding, but the Environment Agency’s North-West office has been assisting PR colleagues in other flood-hit areas.
