CELEBRITY Lily Allen’s actor brother, Alfie Allen, has drafted in Liz Matthews PR to help to promote his role in a new film starring Keira Knightley. Atonement is an adaptation of the Ian McEwan novel of the same name.

CONSUMER Trainer brand KSwiss has signed up youth and fashion spec­ialist Canoe for a consumer brief. Canoe will launch the Ariake, a shoe designed specifically for Parkour or ‘free running’.

CORPORATE The Law Society, the representative body for solicitors in England and Wales, has appointed Melissa Davis as head of media and PR. Davis joined the body as a press officer in 2005.

CONSUMER 360° Communications has won the consumer PR account for handmade puddings company, Farmhouse Fare. Following a two-way pitch, it will raise stress the brand’s ‘homely, hearty and indulgent’ credentials.

PUBLIC SECTOR Serco Docklands, operator of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), has appointed Lawton to raise awareness of its ‘Get Out More’ campaign. The campaign is designed to encourage commuters to make the most of their lunchtimes and evenings using the DLR.

CONSUMER Splendid Communi­cations has now been appointed by SABMiller Group to help deliver a global music campaign for the popular beer brand Miller Genuine Draft. Splendid MD Alec Samways heads the account.
